This position, which is headquartered in Lewis County, West Virginia, supervises the daily operation of the Jackson’s Mill Conference Services department. This position will oversee the planning and logistics for the marketing, negotiating, scheduling, and implementation of 400+ events, meetings, conferences, and retreats per year that are held at WVU Jackson’s Mill Center for Lifelong Learning and State 4-H Camp. These events range in complexity from large weeklong conferences with 450+ persons to weekend conferences, day meetings, receptions and banquets. This position represents WVU Jackson’s Mill, WVU Extension Service, and West Virginia University to the general public and our clients and provides solution-focused results in order for clientele to have positive experiences at WVU Jackson’s Mill. This position must work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, dependent upon events scheduled.
