This position headquartered in Morgantown, WV, is to perform professional accounting functions for the 4-H Youth Development (4-HYD) Program of the WVU Extension Service by applying principles of accounting in examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting records and financial information in order to prepare financial reports and advise Director, Specialists, Agents, and Staff on budgets and spending. Provides fiscal support for the 4-HYD WVU Foundation holdings, as well as, State and Research Corp accounts by tracking and analyzing budgets (revenue, expenditure and cash) and insuring that financial spending meets all necessary requirements as noted by the 4-HYD Director and/or WVU Foundation Donors’ intent. Occasional overnight stays may be required statewide at different 4-H camps during the summer months and at various statewide 4-H events held throughout the remaining months of the year.
